CNC Turning at Argotek

Argotek utilizes five CNC turning centers (CNC lathes) in-house. This capacity allows us to complete a range of turned components with short lead times. The maximum swing on our CNC lathes is 400mm and the longest distance between centers is 1m. Our fully automatic gang-type CNC lathe, Efamatic GT-25, has a spindle bore of 60mm. Its gang-type tooling eliminates tool change time in comparison to a turret CNC lathe, thus reducing part machining cycle times. The BF-60 bar feeder coupled onto this machine allows it to be fully automatic and this ensures that part change over time is kept to a minimum. Common turned materials include, but are not limited to, mild steel, stainless steel, tool steels, aluminium, brass, bronze, and engineering polymers.
